Hey guys,

this is actually my first post here.
Here's the situation: I will have 2 months during summer when I can basically do whatever I want Now my plan is to rent a room in a city and just practice my game 24/7. I simply dont wanna stay at my parents home becaus eit just holds me back from getting this part of my life started. Now, Im actually from Germany but will study in Lancaster during fall, so practicing my english before that cannot be too bad either, plus I love the UK.

SOOO my question is:

What city in the UK should I go to???
It has to be somewhat large and have an active lair. Sure, London is a no brainer, but its simply too expensive for me. What do you think? Birmingham, Manchester, something else? Let me know. Thanks for your help.

I would say London because its bigger. However, whilst there is nothing wrong with Manchester you might struggle a bit with the mancunian accent.

London would be a no brainer but obviously ££££ does come into it.

Accent Schmaksent

There are plenty of slappers in liverpool.
But scouse accents really turn me off. No offence to scousers.

Given the choice Manchester would be my number one, although I have not been out round most cities.
If you want to avoid strong accents, forget birmingham, scotland or liverpool.

Bristol, because that's where they film "Skins"

I've gotta say Manchester. It's were I'm from and it's just clearly the best for gaming. You get your money's worth and a good ratio of beautiful women. Liverpool, where I also live some of the time, is also good for gaming but you'll definately struggle with the accent!
