Best materials for beginners? -

Hey all.
I'm not actually a complete beginner, I was actually not terrible at this many years ago and had a few good lays, but it's been years, I've had two long-term relationships since then, working round the clock, then the pandemic, all in all I need a fresh start and I think the best approach is to learn it all again.
What materials would people recommend as good for a new starter? Ideally free but I don't mind paid as long as it's reasonable. Something quite practical and general basic principles would be good.
Used to do a lot of daygame. I followed Nick Sparks and an English guy whose name I genuinely can't remember (Johnny Something?)
Honestly I found it got results, but I'm 34 now and feel like enjoying some good nightlife after a week working instead of running round Oxford Street all Saturday. I'm not knocking daygame at all each to their own, but I'd like to at least broaden my knowledge /techniques.
