There is a theory that really hot girls actually get approached a lot less because guys are either intimidated by them or they see themselves as having no chance. The common belief being that a hot woman will only go out with either a good looking or rich guy and that there's no point approaching. I first read about this in Kezias book, she believes hot girls just get stared at but don't get approached by sober men, and she should know for she is smoking hot herself!

I put this theory to my friends and they think its bollocks, men are so visually stimulated that they're always going to try to chat up the hot girls. And I think generally men have more confidence in their looks then woman as the cartoon below illustrates. Men generally think they are better looking than they are and women generally think they are uglier than they are. I know some of you are not going to agree with this but its just a theory.

I'd just like to know what you think about my title question, do you think really hot girls get approached more or less than average looking girls? And if you are friends with really hot girls do you see them getting approached more or less than your average looking female friends?
