Yeh i think that is also a good way to look at it. Ignoring it shows that you don't even register the negativity and that your on your own path .But at the same time, i think its important that you have boundaries on what you will and won't accept from a woman.

Punishing should = freeze out/ ignoring.

Punishing with negative attention is still paying attention, and therefore giving validation. Think of girls the same as naughty kids, deep down they don't care if they're being hugged or told off as long as they're getting attention.

And if they're getting attention, they have an element of control.

I personally think that women like "mystery" and not necessarily what they can't have. That's what the whole PUA routine is about in my opinion (in part at least). Keep them guessing and they don't know what to do with you, then they become interested. I could be wrong but this is my opinion.
