Very minor point, but when you make friends with a girl on FB do you be-friend then message or be-friend and message at same time?
I think if you message when you send a friend request it doesn't appear in their inbox, which is why I usually be-friend then message once they have accepted.
Reality probably is it doesn't matter if initial interaction was strong enough.

Whilst we're on the subject of online matters - what are people's opinion of online dating - any success with attractive girls from it?

did a bit of online dating when i first started as i wanted to explorer every opportunity.

i found it gave me "false progress", because i was messaging several women back and forth i thought i was fully pimped. but when i looked at it i still wasn't approaching when out.

bit of advice someone gave me who uses dating sites alot was that most people pick there best pictures over several years.
so the girl who looks maybe ok and fuckable may not be when you meet them in person.
he has some very entertaining stories of how hes bailed before even finishing the first drink.

In my experience the girls you end up meeting tend to be either fatter than their profile depicts, or decent looking but boring. Don’t waste your time settling for less. Push yourself, go out and be the selector. Plus it’s more f*cking exciting meeting girls in real life!

Your kinda of confirming what I thought. I was always of the opinion that why would a hot girl need to use a dating site when they get so many guys hitting on them anyway.

However, I do have a friend who snagged a hottie this way and that guy from 'MyPUAJourney' seems to use it quite a lot too, so thought I'd see if anyone else was - doesn't appear they are on here at least.

I suppose why waste the time when there is so many hot real life girls out there.....

Ok I get your point! Maybe over thinking this. Reason for writing was, I seem to have reached a point where I get a lot of numbers etc, but also quite a few flakes and starting to get annoyed by this e.g. had 2 kiss closes this Friday that have both flaked (1 on phone 1 on FB). Just wondered if it is anything to do with my FB/phone game, but in reality think it's because was only speaking to these girls for about 10 minutes a piece so the connection wasn't that strong.

Interested to know how other people have got through this flake barrier? Does it just happen naturally as your interactions/pick ups get better?

On a side note, how do I quote 2 people in the same reply?

My last 2 numbers have flaked on me to, I think its down to my texting, I never know what to put in a txt im always more of a phone call guy, but this day and age texting is the norm and a girl might feel a little on edge if you just called them

I got myself a day 2 this weekend with a girl I met in a bar, I was kicking myself for not number closing so I found her on facebook like the stalker I am lol. Long story but I somehow got her full name and not just first name so found her pretty easily on there. Its progressed pretty well from there.

Agree with Jaz, very useful for those you already meet. In my experience not so good for adding random girls you dont know!
