xD i know how i make it sound with the canned stuff, but thats only if something is REALLY dry, its just like 'hey would i suit a mohawk' -reply- 'its just i was in the hotel the other night, walk in, and my mate kaz is getting his hair shaved off in his sleep, so ive got them all to leave off, woke him up and spent two hours sculpting the perfect mr t do. now hes getting twice as many girls as me!' sorta thing, but we did this the other night, just in case, and never used a single piece of canned stuff apart from the handwriting analysis gimmick its only a backup, btw i havent seen the pick up artist, but have read up on the mystery method so it makes sense that thats what i chose to fall on , besides, after a while, you get the confidence for your own style, until them, use it as a crutch
ps, vanishing point=best car film EVER.

The problem is that natural does not work for me with most people - I have got Aspergers Syndrome.

If you're into the set, but not yet at the hook, I've started trying to make assumptions about sets.

"Okay, dressed like that it's somebody's birthday."
"Your accent... Hungarian right?"
"You guys must be best friends."

Assuming things about people is more how you talk to your friends. And it gives them either the desire to say "Nice one, that's true." or "No! Why would you say that?" at which point you can go into a routine, or start chatting whatever crap you use.

It's a good way to hit the hook, because it gets them to commit to a conversation. The words of warning are to throw in a False time constraint, and watch out for lingering. Lingering is a real danger before the hook.

Natural does not mean "your natural way of doing things".
Natural means "you are good with women, and an interaction appears easy for you and not forced"

There is no reason that you shouldn't be good with women, unless you choose not to be.

I agree with damask, Having a DHV story is always useful and also alows her to hook and rapport you if you dont go into too much detail within the DHV story for example One of my DHV storys that i use is this:

I will say to the target after the intitial opening or after small talk in the arkward silence "You know you remind me of a girl i used to work with in New Zealand" and everytime ive used this opener to my DHV Story she will always repeat "New Zealand!?" or aim the conversational totally in that direction an then tell the DHV: Well when i was 19 i had a misunderstanding with my mother and moved out, i already had some inheritance left so packed my suitcase then got on a plane a week later to New Zealand and lived there for a while working traveling then had to leave.

The thing about this routine is that its a true story and there are so many hooks to rapport off it and coming back to your original post i can use it pretty much straight after a opener.

So i would say its definatly worth having some canned DHV stories. If your not too sure about finding a DHV i found this that might help

Had something interesting, funny or unusual happen to you
• Were there for someone with a problem (friend had a dilemma, spoke to you for advice)
• Stood up and supported somebody (it was hard for him, so I stood up and said lets do this together. I mean my friends and I are totally there for each other)
• Calmed someone down (“she was really scared, I told her to focus on me and that everything would be ok”)
• Organized something for friends (holiday, away trip, day out etc)
• Were chased by a girl (“she was bombarding me with text messages”)
• Did something with a girl(s) (“My friend Jane and I went to….”)
• Took a beating for someone (It was gonna be bad, but we faced it together)
• Told somebody what to do (“they didn’t know what to do next, so I told them to…”)
