Check out Jeremy Soul. He's got a couple of videos on YouTube and is generally no nonsense. Also he has a interview on 'PickupPodcast.com'. He was very inspirational when it came to me getting into Day Game.

I think day game is fine alone. For me the idea of going to bars and clubs on my own would worry the hell out of me. You'd have to be permantly in set and of course the awkard question could arise 'wheres your mates?' etc.
Social value would probably decrease as a result I feel.
