Default opinions on dating - 01-08-2010, 01:51 PM

What do you guys think about dating?

I personally find it quite an awkward environment, so many questions going around that it just feels like a job interview. I try to avoid them if possible. I prefer to invite girls out with a group of friends, a good laugh and alot less formal

HAHA no man dates are awsome... its a continuation of the meeting... LOTS OF FLIRTING, NO QUESTIONS

i beleive you should not be that much more wiser on their personal facts at the end of the date than at the begining

just look for views, values morals CONVERSATIONAL POINTS

all with little negs and jokes , roleplays all in one

Like Phil says, dates are cool. There are to be enjoyed. Sure it can be a nervy affair but that's half the fun. Don't worry too much about interview questions, just engage with the answers (pay attention) and roll with the conversation. Dates are best for escalating as you both know why you are there.

girls just wanna have fun

I remember when I first got into pickup stuff and was reading too much I had a series of awful dates. I wanted to be really interesting and play loads of these clever games and stuff I had learnt. I realised I wasnt actually listening to what the girls were saying and connecting but thinking about what I was going to say/ do next. - I think thats also the reason for interview style questions. If one thing flows into the next you can talk for hours and not really realise.

Now when I go on dates I push everything pickup out of my head, enjoy it and be playful.

lol, Phils right- On Friday I went on a date with this girl I had met once before, about a month ago, while she was seeing my old (female!) housemate. I don't think I know anything specific about her AT ALL.(My housemates are still annoyed about the fact that they heard her moaning Friday night and Saturday afternoon ) Although saying that, I do feel like Iv known her for years now.

The first 2 replies are spot on.

I dunno, I prefer to do the escilation on the night. Like heading to a nice resteraunt after the club or take them to the casino for a few drinks and bit of flirting. Then heading out again for another night out instead of a formal date

Fair. Do you find it less like an interview when you go to a restaurant straight after the club?

Its cool to keep going for nights out with her and your friends, but I think the date thing has to be done somewhere along the line if you like them. By formal do you mean like restaurant?(im not a fan of that) I dont really think of dates as formal... i like cosy bars, interesting clubs or random ideas that I want to do anyway

Its different right after the club, everyone is buzzing and having a good time so its easier to talk crap the same night, especially you have prob already k closed them already.

But yeah formal dates like a resteraunt, but also pubs to. I find if you know a bit of background on the person already its alot easier, but there isnt always time to talk to them when you grab a number at a club

face to face is borin... i dont wanna watch u eat ... means u can escalate mid meal... plus u seem fun

Make sure aswell everyone in the restaurant keeps lookin at all the fun ur having SHE WILL LOVE THIS
