My first posting, good to be here!

I have read and heard quite a few times that one should make sure to get as many numbers as you can BEFORE about 10-11pm. ie. in the beginning of the night. This is so that all guys that approach these same women will be comparing to you, and if you had put on a good show ealier on they will brush these guys off fairly quickly.

I can't help thinking that it could go either way if in a bar/club...(I spend alot of time in clubs
/bars)


SCENARIO 1

If you get a number early on in the night, chances are that she's probably soba and still warming up to her environment. As the night go's by she will get more and more drunk (as human beings do at clubs) and hence more comfortable with her surroundings. This means that later on in the night she will start becoming alot more open to guys coming up to her and may even be LOOKING for it as she is now in an approachable state (a bit tipsey and looking to have some fun). So considering she will be in a more fun-loving and 'party-going' mode, when guys come up to her there is a very good chance that she will forget about the soba encounter she had with you when she first arrived ealier on in the night. I know that if I meet someone in the beginning of the night, I almost completely forget about that person later on in the night when Im strutting my moves on the dance floor with a coupla cold ones in me. Surely this is the same for women! (ive actually seen it happen, Ive got a number or 2, and then seen those same girls handing their numbers out to other guys later on in the night, now if I had got in AFTER those guys would it not have been better as I would have been the last thing on her mind rather than 'old news'?)


SCENARIO 2

Then there is the flip side to my theory, and that is...if you really put on a good show in the beginning of the night when she first arrives, she will brush off any further guys fairly quickly as she will feel that her mission has been 'accomplished', she can now focus on having a good time with her friends etc. Almost like the care-free feeling you get once you've got a few numbers in your pocket, from there on out you're not really bothered with what happens as your mission is complete and youre taking at least a f numbe home with you.
However I still cant help thinking that at a 5 hour party you will be forgotten about fairly easily, especially if booze enters her system!

What is your guys take on this? (I assume there is some truth to both side of the coin here, care to elaborate?)

There is one of the theories on a DVD that is called. 10pm while 2am. They say to approach at 10, open, build your attraction. Then go party with your mates and let her go and party with her's and periodically touch base with her to show your a fun guy etc etc. 2am, take her home!

dude, im not sure about you but im rather choosy over the girls i approach. the whole system is designed to get us the stunners, right? So... the 9's and 10's are pretty hard to find. If i see one, off i go. so its more of an opportunistic thing when than something really calculated. i even try my luck in shopping centre in the middle of the day if i see a quality babe. in fact i am starting to move more and more towards the "anytime" pickup these days, largely because of the uncertainty that alcahol brings into the game. i means who knows what a girls gonna do or think when she's hammered?

But to answer your question (sorry about drifting off topic) I would go early and sober in a bar. at then end of the day im ultimately trying to get a real relationship with a super hot chick. so getting to know her sober is a pretty good start. Plus alot of people are quite lively when tipsy, but boring as hell when sober. Disaster.

Personally I think if u meet a chick early on then u can suffocate her a little bit if u try and hang round for the whole night until you go back to hers.

Retro I havent seen this DVD but if i meet a girl early on I like coming back every now and again as the fun guy (especially when there are AFC's loitering around her drooling)

I think to some extent "out of sight, out of mind" is true, plus it raises your social value if you're going between different girls in a club.

Im sure the guys who are the finished article can hook up with chicks any time but I personally find it a lot harder at the end of the night
