Default Opinions on handling her friends - 14-03-2010, 10:36 PM

I already have a few ideas on this, but after some more.

Last night i was out in this bar, opened up a 3 set, started talking to the one am interested in,then brought her friends into the conversation,to try and befriend them, which seems to work, then i end up 1 on 1 with the 1 am interested in, while the other 2 talk to themselfs. Were getting along well, then her friends try and pull her away from me,saying they want to go dance, but shes telling them she wants to stay and talk to me, they go away then 5 mins later try and pull her away again, and shes like am fine, i get her number and move on,open a 2 set, talk to them both but focus on one,i get a good hook point from her,and her mates try to pull her away, but i can tell i have got a hook point and she wants to stay, i try and bring her friend in,but she just wants to go. somtimes i will get evil eyes off there friends,as am talking to 1 girl.

I have some ideas on how to handle this, and why this is happening, but would like a few other opinions on the situation, Some of these girls are damaging my chances.

are u flying solo?

where is your wingman / wingmen in all of this?

he should be in there to engage the friends of your target, to keep them busy help avoid all this hassle you get. If your wingman ain't doing that and you need him then give a pep talk in advance of the sarging to encourage him/them to help u out.

also, i suggest that if you get repeat IOIs off a girl then in a nightclub it can be easy to have an excuse to isolate her, "let's go somewhere quieter! where we can hear each other!" - then you move her away from her gaggle of friends before they try and move her away from you.

here's some links for u that I nicked off Kris_Dude

I tend to go out alone, dont have many options of wing men round here.

Yeah i could try and move them, cant really do that on a 2 set.

More effort in befriending there friends, might be needed to create comfort, but going out alone will come across predatory.

with the ones that act alittle hostle am thinking negs, and what i call defence material,to break down there guards.

I will check out the links thanks

If its a 2 set, you need to find a wing of some sort. The target is simply not going to completely commit her attention to you, as she has a duty to check her friend is ok. In this instance, the problem isn't the obstacle. Its the target's loyalty to the obstacle, and until you can find a way to be winged, its going to be difficult.

You can number close in a 2 set however. It involves talking to both of them, but there's no reason why you can't run your game and then towards the end turn to one of them and say 'Well I've gotta go see a dog about a man, but Helen, give me your number, I'll give you guys a call a bit later.'

Its possible to number close your target, but kiss closing her is going to be a whole lot harder.

A three set should be easier, but in the absence of a wing, you'll need to isolate her. There's not actually anything wrong with turning to her friends and saying, 'Guys, do you mind if I steal Helen for a little while?'

They're not exactly going to say no, and you've stated your intentions fairly well - saying 'I want to spend some time alone with your friend, please do not interrupt us'

But more than anything, find a wing. This shit gets a whole lot easier when you've got someone to work with.

Just get on with it please

Very, very interesting stuff there Jaz. I'm actually quite keen to tell my wing(s) to stay back next time I'm out, so I can give this a go!

Just get on with it please

My job moves to warrington in a few months,so i will move with it,so i will be near manchester/liverpool should be easier to find some wingmen.

Jaz that sounds like it could be good if done properly,I will store it to memory and give it a try probably this weekend. Am sure it will take a few practise runs.

Just tell them to "Get in the zone!"....

I'll get my coat then...
