I know a lot of sales people who are shit at pickup but they are willing to approach so still get laid.
Plus sales isn't always about word it's sourcing the best leads and who u can partner with. So being good at sales I think is 20% sales ability. The rest is product knowledge. Leads and work rate

Definitely a transferable skill, although a lot of salesmen try a hard push. This will fuck you up in pickup (and probably sales too) when you don't know how to back off.

For sure working in sales helps to feel more confident talking to people. And this is exactly what women like. The rest depends on your personality and your skills to present yourself.
