When you're having a bad run of form, looks can save you. Options breeds confidence. Confidence helps you feel comfortable outputting your personality without worry. Unless you don't have a personality in the first place don't worry about your looks.
And anyway you should not rely on women to allow you to create a personality.
You will automatically succeed if you have options and that success breeds more success.

What I would advise though is to cut the gamey way of thinking about talking to girls. It is fine to add techniques to your arsenal. Do you reckon people who are good (be it naturals or learnt) think "I need to add value". Fuck no!

To be creative, take what you see in her be it clothes, the way she moves, etc comment on it and twist it.

To denounce your looks because of either some paranoia about an accident, or to seek some kind of level of skill that will insulate you from risk…that's all pretty convoluted.

Do you expect women to actually date you be it long term, short term or even one night stands if you act like this. Unless of course you use only your looks and go home with a low quality girl.
