Well, I think you knew it was a pretty lame come on and so naturally you felt embarrassed after saying it, as would just about anybody!
Not to worry though. We've all done it. I've come out with some corkers. I think if your'e gonna get sexual about something then trying to disguise it under what would appear to be a normal conversation (about work, lol i've got images of David Brent in The Office big time!!) then it's gonna be difficult to make it sexy, unless your a grand master in talking dirty which I'm sorry to say it seems to me that you are not.
So, maybe it's best for you to take another route. Try having a conversation with her. Ask her what she likes to do to have fun. Ask her what her favourite colour is. Then maybe compliment her on how she looks, "Hey your hair is really cool", or "I love the colour of your top, it really goes with your smile". Then, if you start hitting it off, then you can maybe drop a cheeky comment about how sexy she looks when she's typing, or whatever.
I think work can be a bit tricky though with the sexual comments. unless your'e a naturally confident guy, you could end up actually becoming David Brent, which unless your'e Ricky Gervais, is not cool. Get her down the pub maybe, and then tell her what you've been wanting to do to her over your office desk recently.
It's only technique in its conjunction with meaningfulness that you get a work of art
