I am probably reading into things a bit too much here, but I received a text message that wasn't meant for me from a girl I like. It was meant for another guy called James, my names Tom, which is a big difference in anyone's phone book. It wasn't anything important, but got me thinking about texts I have sent to the wrong person. Normally I send them if I am thinking about that person, so i may wanna send it too alice, but if I have a moment lapse of concentration and am thinking about say Jane, then I may send it to Jane.

Any thoughts?

Id say youre reading into things too much man, but at the same time your theory could be correct. If you can follow this text up with some form of cocky/witty banter to the girl who sent you this text, stating the reason for her sending it you that she was clearly thinkin of you.... you could use it as a route in (if thats what you want from this??).

Made me chuckle a little (not at you) but just reminded me of some text's i've sent to the wrong girl in the past

"Ha ha, i've just done the deed and got laid with Danni, on my birthday too!! Now pay up what you owe.. Sausage cobs for a week, I won this bet sonny Jim" (Sent it to the girl who was the subject of the text)

And
"Fucking pulled last night, dirty little minx from work, gonna meet up with her again for rd2!!" again sent to the girl who was the subject

I now always check my "to" list twice before sending!

Ha sent a filthy message to my gay mate once by accident (honest!!)

Haha, it is always alot of fun when that happends and you accidentally send the message to the wrong person.

I´ll have to agree with just being honest about it, and it won´t be a big deal for her either.
