Default Getting an ex back - 30-09-2014, 03:33 PM

I've been reading books like The Game for awhile but never really put anything I learned into good use..

Now I'm in a bit of a pickle.

My and my ex had a lot of little arguments and she left me this Sunday the 28th after being in Uni 1 Week.
I told her we could work through this and asked her if it was salvageable but she is adamant that the damage is already done and she wants to be alone. (her best friend is also telling her she is doing the right thing)

When I ask her if there's a chance we can try again in a few weeks she said she can't see into the future.

I was with her for 8 Months and I'm not going to lie, I thought she was the one.
I'm a mess at the moment and want nothing more than to get her back. (I'm 22 and she's 19 by the way)

Hoping someone could offer some advice.

I've stopped contact with her today, but I can't stop looking at her facebook and reminiscing about all the good times we had.

She's due back home about the 9th of October and is planning to get her stuff from me around that day. I was planning on asking her if she wants to go get a drink when I drop her stuff off, as friends..but unsure what to do at that point.

I don't want to move on, This girl was different, she meant a lot to me.

What 'damage' was done? What happened? You cheat on her or something?

No, just small arguments about tattoo's and little things.
I already told her that I wasn't prepared to lose her over tattoos if she wanted them I'd love her just the same.

she just said "I'm not changing who you are"

Its all a bunch of small and pathetic little arguments, I'm willing to work at it but she doesn't seem interested.

Its a nightmare.

If she isn't interested. Let it go. u can't convince with words. time has to pass for a womans emotions to subside.

the only way is a really really long game, and u still may lose.

Move on, if its meant to be.. it will be one day.

Also, try remembering her when she is moody, stop picturing her smiling.

Helps.

Come on, surely there's a way that I can get her back.

I was racing the game before we got together, but I actually felt happy with this girl, unlike the others.

If it fails, I'll go back to picking up new girls, but I'm not just giving up just yet.

I've cut contact but I haven't deleted her from facebook etc, I'm currently waiting it out.

Thanks for the advice though, I do need to get back in the gym! its been about 3 months...stressful year.

I appreciate your advice Jaz, but I think you can game your ex just like any other girl.

Its worth a go for me, give it 2 weeks and if no progression I'll follow your advice to the letter.

I actually have a lot of respect for your honesty man and I really do appreciate your help.

I find it hard to move on with this one, usually I don't have any issues and I think your right that it might only happen again if we give it another go.

Thanks Jaz

True that! She was bloody irritating at times and incredibly immature, still obsessed with celebrities, make up and had some really bad mood swings.

It helps just talking about it.
I'll be sticking around here anyway, Its about time I put what I've learned to use and learn more!

I'm off out this Friday that should help.

Thanks again.

My first ever post on here was similar to yours. I was all traumatised & desperate & shit & had been googling "how to win your ex back" when I stumbled upon this forum full of lovely cunts. Now I'm even ranked #24

(I should be higher, sort that shit out please Jaz)

I won't go in to my story but I'll say this, ermmm, just do all the things Jaz said.

It took me 3 months of an alcohol haze before I realised I needed to try & move on. I eventually moved away 50 miles away a year later because of other stuff that happened involving the same girl, but the thing is life is fucking awesome now.

You're not the first guy to have his heart broke, & you won't be the last. This experience will actually toughen you up, there is a lesson included in all this.

If you can move away to a new city, that would be my advice. If you can do that, do it, along with everything Jaz has said.

You can't win if you don't play
