Default Seduction films - 05-02-2010, 02:55 PM

Hay Everyone,

I wanted to set up a page on film’s on seducing or helping with seduction.

ALL AM THINKING IS THE NAME , FILMS ABOUT, YOU’RE VIEW ON THE FILM AND LINK TO FILM.

DON’T COMMENT ON OTHERS POST (unless posting a link to the film).

Am going to start with.

*Spread (2009)

Spread tells the story a high-end lothario, Nikki (Ashton Kutcher), who has slept his way into a life of privilege. He shares his secrets with us as he hosts parties and beds scores of women, all...

I think it’s a cool film but does that stupid Hollywood shit where the star regrets what he does.

*Roger Dodger (2002)

Set against the bright lights of Manhattan, a tale which takes a comic, urbane look at the modern male ego at war in the singles scene trenches. Roger Swanson is a hopelessly cynical advertising copywriter with a razor-sharp wit who believes he has mastered the art of manipulating women. But Roger's seemingly foolproof world of smooth talk and casual sex begins to unravel when he is paid a surprise visit by his teenager nephew, Nick. Hoping to settle, once and for all, the issue of his virginity, Nick begs Roger to school him in the art of seducing women. Welcoming the challenge, Roger guides Nick through the city's wild nightlife for an all-night crash course, only to realize that he--the adult--still has something to learn about what women, and men, really want.

*Magnolia (1999)

24 hours in L.A.; it's raining cats and dogs. Two parallel and intercut stories dramatize men about to die: both are estranged from a grown child, both want to make contact, and neither child wants anything to do with dad. Earl Partridge's son is a charismatic misogynist; Jimmy Gator's daughter is a cokehead and waif. A mild and caring nurse intercedes for Earl, reaching the son; a prayerful and upright beat cop meets the daughter, is attracted to her, and leads her toward a new calm. Meanwhile, guilt consumes Earl's young wife, while two whiz kids, one grown and a loser and the other young and pressured, face their situations. The weather, too, is quirky

RJ seams to think the the Tom Cruise caricter is based on him , I’ve not seam this yet.

*Hitch (2005)

Alex "Hitch" Hitchens (Will Smith) is a professional "date doctor", or consultant as Hitch terms himself, who coaches other men in the art of having the perfect date with the woman of their dreams.
At the start of the film Hitch is helping three guys get the girl of their dreams. Tell tips and revealing that three dates is all he needs, three dates he will get you there.
In a flashback scene, Hitch, a then-nerd, dated a girl in college who cheated on him and broke his heart; this moved him to become a date doctor to help men who are as hopeless with women as he once had been.

This is abit odd. Films with a seduction influence have already been talked about here before. Most of these films do not 'help with seduction' anyway due to the fact they are fictitious. Fiction is not a credible source to learn from.

I agree with K, it looks like you've just copied and pasted the spiel of the movie direct from marketing speil and you've not even seen one of the movies you are supposed to be 'reviewing'. I don't see how this is a review or in anyway insightful.

It was fear of myself that made me odd

Yeah fair enough K I was over exaggerating abit there, but in the context of pick-up learning from the likes of a fictional character say James Bond in a movie is less insightful and productive in terms of developing your game than learning from real-world learned experiences.

You're right that is another discussion, but one that does not warrant further discussion in this thread.

Game On

It’s a Film about the Game, it was made during the time the book the Game came out so it interviews guys like Mystery. If anything it’s worth watching as Mystery dresses like a bee, I’ve watched it 3 times and still find my self saying “he’s dressed like a Bee”. It also looks at Pickup 101, New York lair and also the Bristol Lair interviewing a lot of the main guys along the way.

So what did I get out of it ? Well I got into the PUA world because I met someone I fell in Love with I wanted her (till this day I want her) but overall never had a problem with women. In this film they do follow some guys that DO really have a problem understand women . One of the guys is a Cuban guy who was at the bottom, along the way they they teach him seduction at 101 and we see him get better. At the end of the film they catch up with the guys this being 3 mouths later the Cuban guy has changed to an extent that I had to watch it 3 times before I noticed it was him.
