So i've been working on day game and getting over approach anxiety by doing lots of indirect approaches. Is certainly helping my confidence and has become a lot easier.

However, now im getting over the approach anxiety bit im having trouble transitioning to get into a general conversation.

And today was a great example. asked a girl her opinion on some jewellery for an xmas pressie for my sis. and asked what she'd suggest. she took me to a whole other shop and was really friendly. but i couldn't get into general chit chat

any advice would be greatly appreciated

Theree's a couple of simple tricks you can use to move the convo on. For example you could point out a dress and say something like "my ex had a dress just like that. Funny story..."

You can say something like "hey, you remind me of a girl I knew who worked at starbucks. Where do you work?

Use your imagination. Look around you. Comment on her clothing, her style, your surroundings...
