This is my first thread cept the introduction,

ok,i did a day game today,number closed a girl in gym. that was the first time i go with direct opener and play day game. i think at the begining it went well, but i didn really build any connection with her.i was like i have to go now n can i get your number...(coz i didn really know how to continue the conversation)although i got the number,i thought its gonna be a flake

and after 10 minutes i texted her with" who was the sexy guy you were just talkin to" and after a couple of hours, she texted me back with stuff like,

"im so flattered you approached me,im afraid u caught me off guard and i've got a boyfriend,so im not interrested in seeing any other guys.sorry."

basically, i was all preparing for flake,didn expect the "boyfriend" thing come out.So i dunno wot to do now, please help me out everyone!

Mate, if anything I congratulate you! You not only manned up and went direct (in the gym of all places!) but you came out with a number. This is really good progress - I reckon you'll start to find (as I have) that now you've got one number you'll find it easier to get others.

As for this girl, it's a shame that she has a boyfriend (in my opinion, this is an all-too-common thing at Bristol Uni - see my "Boring Girls and their Borefriends" thread). My best advice is to forget this one and move on...no matter how hot she is (I know the hottest ones are always harder to ignore!). At the end of the day, you're developing skills that will, fairly soon, mean you can get the number off any girl you like, in pretty much any scenario. I say you need to learn from the experience, take some positives (that initial text you sent is absolute gold. Credit: Kowalski) and move on to the next one. There are plenty of hot girls out there waiting to give you their number!

As for the connection thing, read my connection thread in "Seduction tips..." (not that I want to sound like I'm plugging myself or anything!). It's my humble opinion that once you've opened and established some good conversation with a girl, you need on to building this rapport and connection. I reckon if you number close after that you'll get fewer flakes.

Awesome stuff, i'm with Blanca on this one, just accept it and move on. If she has a boyfriend and she's happy with him don't chase her, just respect that and look elsewhere. Things are looking good for you mate, keep it up!

new one here mate, in my opinion its all fair that she gave you her number but the fact that she 'said' she was offguard is irrelavent, you got a number close because she was interested and felt like 'breaking the rules', text her agen in a week or so with a scenario your unsure with, my bet is she will be willing to talk, go with your instincts from there,
