Default Help I messed up! - 13-05-2013, 04:53 PM

ok ill try keep this short.

I went on a 'double date' with my mate and his bird and her friend.
The date went great, she asked to swap numbers before I even had the chance and we shared a good kiss to end the night.

we sent a few texts back and forth, I then said do you fancy meeting up again? 24 hours later she replies saying 'yeh sounds good', I wait a few hours and then say 'thursday good for you?' and she never replied.

That was last week, I figured she wasnt interested in me and was just being polite. Anyway to ressurect this? any good texts to get it going again?

(there is maybe another problem, she had to leave town before myself and the other couple due to engagements that we knew about before the double date, so I stayed out and went home with another woman, I dont think she does know about that and my mates bird said she wouldnt say anything, however there is a chance she has told her, anyway to wriggle out of that one? )

if you built it up too much then she got a needy vibe, the less texts the better

I wouldn't emphasis texting less as a rule. It's about the vibe you're kicking out. Sometimes you can fuck yourself over pretending to be passive, this is something I learnt recently.

Well I text her today just saying 'Hi been a while hows things?' She hasnt replied and I dont really expect her to. I figure if she doesnt then forget her and find someone else worth my time.

Anyway, I presume that she told your mates bird you asked her on a date and and she told her you went home with another women. If that's the case she probably thinks your a cunt.If you honestly think your mates bird wasn't going to tell her then you seriously underestimate the sisterhood.

You can clearly get laid so don't worry about it, but basically, game over with this one.
I was at work and its when I got to my phone.

Yeh probably

You want to consider what value are you adding to her life sending a text like that. The way the text comes across is that you are looking for her to give you something. This is good example of needy behaviour.

I thinks its far more likely she has told her then hasnt, However she has only worked/known with her a month, and strangley she also told me to crack on some birds so I dont feel like a 3rd wheel with them after my date had left.

Also she wants us to work out so im not sure what she would gain from telling her.

just re-read the initial post - only glanced it earlier

two points:

''good kiss to end the night'' - peck on the cheek like, no way you got a good kiss if youd never met and just had dinner

''we sent a few texts back and forth, I then said do you fancy meeting up again? 24 hours later she replies saying 'yeh sounds good'' - not a good idea to ask straight after, that's just me tho

Jazs point stands, the sisterhood is full of it ;-)
