Ok I've been brushing up on my dancefloor game, and have a short book by this guy on PDF. PM me your email address and I'll make sure you get a copy. Anyway some basic advice:

Firstly, think of dancefloor game as a whole different style of game. Conversation should be extremely limited if it happens at all, and you need to rely more on inner game and confidence.

Essentially, as you'll read in the book, it's all about enjoying yourself. If you go onto a dancefloor and really enjoy the music, you'll be the happy little centre that the universe will revolve around. Make friends with people (especially guys) and you'll get social proof. Making friends with groups can be as simple as high fiving people, complimenting on their dancing style or playfully dancing with them. Even something as simple as saying to some guy "ohhh dude I really love this song" when a good one comes on, then high fiving him, can get you in with a group. Not to sarge, but to build social proof. On the dancefloor, social proof is very important.

If you go and genuinely enjoy yourself and make friends with people, you'll find that girls gravitate towards you and position themselves at opportune locations in your vicinity. From here it's not too tricky.

If you must initiate conversation from here, say to a girl something like "you caught my eye, you look absolutely stunning. My name's Alex" and let it evolve from there. If you've followed the earlier advice she's as good as yours.

It's just advice, fellas. Do whatever the FUCK you wanna do

Check Jaz's response to this thread. I think it is as good as anything I have read:

And another one:

RSD OZZIES DANCEFLOOER GAME TAKEN FROM RSDNATION

And lastly use the search facility cos this has been covered already..!

Much Success!!

Or as girls tend to dance in groups forming a circle bust right in there and do a 'cyclone' (see Flawless Natural) right in the middle of them.......ain't that right Blanca!?

Caution: This has gotten me mixed responses, it's quite a bold manouvre, some girls like it and join right in. Others respond quite aggressively to it. Whether the response is positive or negative both are a good thing, to quote Paul Janka I remember him once saying 'You want to get either a positive or negative reaction from a women, if you get neither it's like you don't even register as a man.'

Ohh we know all about the cyclone - I'm yet to be convinced by it's pure seductive power though!

Good point about it being enough to get any reaction from girls, good or bad. We need to be careful not to go fishing for attention in this way though. It's fine if we're doing it for a laugh, regardless of the consequences, but to do it just to get a reaction or get noticed is a low value thing to do.

I agree doing something like a cyclone or just busting some mad shapes on the dancefloor solely to get attention is try-hard and could be percieved as low-value.

Doing it purely for a laugh which is essentially why I like to do things like that every now and then is perfectly fine. When you're doing things purely to have a laugh and for your own self-amusement without seeking validation from anyone is in itself a high-value act.

Essentially you have to be happy or comfortable doing these things for it to pay off. I think regardless of self amusement it is worth trying, if anything to push your social boundaries. The cyclone is a fun way to get state flowing with your wings.

girls just wanna have fun

@ Nova, damn straight! it does get the juices flowing. It's also a good way to just loosen yourself up and allow you to become unstifled. If you don't feel uncomfortable doing something like this on a dance floor with numerous people around you then walking upto a random girl is a breeze compared.
