A lot of people here turn to game after coming out of a relationship, that’s exactly how I got on into the community years ago.



When you’re with someone you love for a long time it feels like you’re on top of the world. When you lose that you feel down. You look to the peaks of the experiences you had in the past and feel low. You want to get back up to where you were before and gaming is attractive in its promises of quick ascent. It can teach you to go higher than the average and reach the 9s and 10s you desire.


The problem is you end up constantly wasting your effort climbing other people’s mountains. You try to reach the top and when you fail you pick yourself up and start climbing another.



While it’s fun to climb it’s not what we’re meant for. We are here to build. There comes at time where you have to say this is where I am, this is the top of my mountain.


It takes years of hard work and effort to build a mountain or a man. You don’t do it for anyone else, it’s your mountain your building. You take what you know is good for you and keep on building. Every little fearful moment, every drop of sweat that builds from taking a step towards the person you want to be adds to your character. When you create beauty in the world, the world creates beauty in you.


Be the man on top of the mountain. Be the heights people stare at for inspiration. Be who you’re meant to be.
