Dur Da da da, da da daaaa, (Star Trek Music Lol)


I recently created a little game with some of my friends who also struggle with approach angziety and other issues to do with hot woman.
Bassicly becouse were massive Trekies we use the terminology for laughs and to remove the seriousness from the situation so we can relax and have fun even in rejection.

when we go out to new clubs we call our selves away teams, (Becouse) staying in our houses watching star trek is like being trapped in the enterprise ship, so going anywhere is a new world. And when we decied to go out we call our selves "Away Teams".

We also use the Races of star trek to label certain sterio types in a fun way, so for example,
One of our " 1 Nausigan Approaching Captain" the Nausigans are one of the most competitive races, 7 foot tall and always looking for a fight, so in these clubs you can see who they would fit. "Klingon Warrior Dispatching Nausigan" would translate as " A bouncer chucking the Chump out"

Bassicly we just mess around and pretend like this sometimes for fun and to remove the seriousness, i am actually ordering a Star Trek Commanders uniform soon for more fun when going out, pretending to be Commander William T. Riker on the enterprise who always gets the woman.

The funny thing is, is that these Star trek races and there personallities, in which the star trek crew use to get what they want actually work in real life, so far, for example we refere all the hardest dudes as Klingons (So thats Bouncers, Alphas who primitively get the woman but keep to themselves) etc and these are paticulary concerned with honour and respect, so displaying value and honour to these people you can usually get in clubs and avoid trouble, aswell as communicating respect in order to befreind and keep him as a back up for other dangerouse races.

Were as a Romulan is someone who may walk away from you and then Glass you from behind, they are the snakes of the clubs, the ones in the corner of the room with scatterd friends across the club as his eyes and ears.

Oh P.s Traveling to the Clubs (Worlds) is the best part, we sit in the car usually getting lifts of our parents and the car is the away team ship and we pretend were flying to the planet lol, and when we hit bumps on the road i ask a freind for a dammage report etc Like:
"Was that a missile, Commander data whats the damage report"

Everything on the star trek night has to be related lol so we talk and act like thi lololol..

You need to all this new star trek bollocks and get back to the old school Kirk methods of fighting monsters, taking drugs and boffing women all the colours of the pantone chart.

None of this "where no one has been before" and back to "no man has boffed before"

Forgive me guys but we've had a couple of joke threads recently and perhaps im being cynical when I sense this might be yet another. If not apologies to you William, here's my thoughts;

Dude, we are all different and that's what makes life so interesting, variety is the spice of life and you have your own Star Trek thing going on which is cool. However I hope you don't use the above rhetoric when you're talking to girls, to be perfectly honest not too many of them are going to be attracted to that, I'm sure one or two might but its fair to say they are a minority.

Like Kowalski says if you are using this terminology for shits and giggles and just poking fun then fair play to you. But if you start talking/acting in this way around women then the majority of women are going to run a mile.

It's cool to be a trekie mate if that's apart of who you are, but let women discover that for themselves and when talking to them just allow the real you to come through instead.

And to reiterate RobboRobson, try and avoid the above stereotype image. I have a friend who is a major Trekie, he would unashamedly classify himself as a huge 'Sci-fi geek' that's great if that's what he wants to be. However he didn't lose his virginity until he was 25 and he's now in a long-term relationship with his cousin......go figure.

I don't agree. IF he does actually talk to girls in this way and it really does represent HIM, then that's spot on. If it attracts the girls he wants then great. This might not only be attractive to Trekie girls but girls who enjoy roleplay, of which I've found most do.

Don't assume just because something isn't cool in the grand scheme of things that girls won't find it fun. Trying to be cool for the sake of it is the biggest mistake every guy makes. Geeks are attractive to many girls.

Hey guys, thnks for the replies, if your wondering this terminology is only between my freinds, but i find this preperation and way of attitude gets the energy and fun up before we venture into clubs, also it builds rapour between you as a group and really sets the lively fun mood, mostly walking in to the clubs pissing ourselves at how geeky were acting, and you can immagine what others would think seeing a pack of fun guys walking in would look like to woman, however i havent thought of talking about it to girls, but to be honest as long as im being funny and not showing any signs of weakness like said before then i can do what i want with confidence and come through, if not then it aint my loss, i want a geeky fun partner who can do all of these things with me.
But i only use it in feed back for example:

Im talking to freinds about a set that went wrong lol:

"Hey guys i approach the exotic female from Norsa six over there but, she refused to speak to me i think she has a grudge against star fleet, however im sure its something to do with the distance, it could never work seen as though im in starfleet and shes far far away, plus i think shes with that Klingon over there"

"Ive got an urgent call from starfleet, ill be right back" (This translates as going to toilet LOL)

This would only be between friends and i hope this would take the seriousness away from rejection and create a fun and energetic atmosphere for all to wonder what were talking about and why were having so much fun together.

Just to let you know i do have a life lol, im not a total 100% trekkie i like other things lololol Thanks guys

William, I have to go sarging with you. You sound like a great laugh. What an original idea!

Nothing relaxes you and gets you in state better than some running 'in' jokes. I remember me and jaz once freestyle rapping in BASIC (programming language) whilst sarging.

I have no doubt that I would be buzzing off you mate!
