Always been a fan of the attitude on here (lurked far longer than i've been a member) - but not every newbee/outsider is antithetical to your world-view or selling a product... no problem with the banter but difficult not to be disappointed.

It is the custom here to mock anything that resembles spam. This looked like a typical "come to our free thing so we can upsell", you shouldn't be surprised that it was attacked for it as a long time lurker.

in fairness, i wasn't that surprised, and hopefully i got that across in my response... the vigilance that this message board has towards commercial enterprise is to be applauded. Just a bit of a sting to be lumped in with that (which i also hate)

Nothing wrong with commercial enterprises as such. I'm one myself. Exercising ethics over the quick dollar is more important though. The lack of ethical selling is the reason for the disdain and that's fair enough. Any company that tries to sell a few videos for 500-thousands needs to seriously think about what they're doing.

can't argue with that really. for clarity's sake though, this is not a commercial enterprise at all. ethical or otherwise.
