Legend, sage words indeed mate ;-D
Sorry I've been unable to get up to much over the last week due to work commitments (getting hosed at the moment). Thanks for the PM's and bumping the thread.
Anyway, high time we lit the fuse!
Are people around to hook up this tuesday or wednesday (9th/10th)?
I would suggest the elbow rooms on the Curtain road, Shoreditch (probably because I work in Bishopsgate, so I can hoof it there), though I'm totally open to anywhere (say, west) really, provided it's relatively central. As long as the place is conducive to a few beers and easy conversation, it's all good.

Following that (or, if nobody can make it during the week), then I'd like to get a crew out on the town on saturday 13th for a proper night out on the sarge! And then, hangovers/budgets/present company permitting, possibly another daytime session around, say, Camden Market or Leicester square on the 14th. I'm relatively flexible (my first totally free weekend for fucking ages), but I'd like to do SOMETHING that weekend for sure!
To re-iterate, EVERYONE is welcome! Ideally, I'd like to see as many people as possible turn up for this with varied experience; sure, the place will turn into a sausage-fest for a few hours, but if you manage to meet at least couple of people you click with to go out on the tiles, then it's a success. Even better, everyone gets on, and everybody expands their social circles. Result
What I'd rather not have, personally, is a bunch of people discussing their "frames" all night, or extolling the virtues of this boot camp over that; don't get me wrong, I'm here to learn, and perhaps I'm merely new, but constant "
PUA-speak" still sounds a little bit odd to my ears. We all have other things going on in our lives; far better then, IMHO, that people engage more generally (at least at first), actually get on, and generate more energy as a group. Obviously I may be missing the point on all of this...
So, could people drop me a PM or bump the thread again and let me know how you're all fixed by this monday evening (8th...tonight) if possible (plus any prefs or suggestions for venues, localles, et al)? I'll then stick something in the events calendar. Would be pretty fucking cool if we get a good number of londoners out this week sometime!
