I'm not sure how things are progressing with this... but I think that the Scotchman pub on St.Michaels hill has a small function room that can be used for free in the evenings. Could be worth checking out.

Okey dokey. Looks like everyone's in so wewre off to a good start. Obviously with xmas coming up there's no point in sorting anything out cos some peeps won't be here. I'm gonna be in Leeds till the 5th of Jan so well talk about it when the festivities are over. Anyway it looks like we've got a few venue options so this is defo gonna happen in the new year!

I asked down at the college today about getting a room on an evening, and the pisstakers tried telling me it's twenty boon for 2 hours Mon to Thurs, between 6 and 8.
I reckon Blinky's idea is the best so far, mainly cos it's free, but also cos there's a bar there
So anyway lets think of summat for next week and get the ball rollin. My voite is for the pub.

Either sounds fine, the function room at the pub sounds good enough. However I don't think £20 for 2 hours is that much of a stretch if the cost is divided by all who attend, bearing in mind we can get 6+.

Woops sorry it's not 20 it's 25, which your right isn't much if there's 5 or 6 of us, which it looks like there might be, and hopefully more.

I'm back in Brizz on Saturday afternoon. I'll pop into the Union (it should be open) and ask about borrowing a room. There's loads of small conference type rooms, and they'll probably be available at a nominal price, if not free.
