Just out of curiousity, is there a mid week nightlife of any description there?

Apparently it is about as busy as Manchester with the same type of student bars/clubs too.

I'm at Bristol uni, theres plenty going on now and for the next few weeks, at least at the studenty places, although they are most likely gonna dry up by the beginning of june.
