Well, I wasnt go out this weekend as I got man flu and really wasn't up for larking around in bars whilst I was ill but I went for it!

I got into state really well and had the groups attention on me for a good hour (My mates that is) just by being funny and positive, it was nice to have the attention on me.

Problems started when it came to actually thinking about game, I had numurous opportunities to interact with people and I froze at each one. The worst being a HB10 that made persistent eye contact, even turning to look in my direction, she was probably one of the hottest things I have seen this year but I just could not pluck up the courage to go over to her.

After Newcastle last week (see pt2) this is a big big downer. It's stuck in my head and now and dented my confidence, I am so pissed off with myself!!

Don't let it get you down mate. I know it's a bit of a cliche in the pick up community but don't think of it as a failure, more an opportunity to learn. Remember - baby steps, keep trying and eventually you'll get there.
Also, take some positives from the experience - the fact that you went out and had a great laugh with your mates and were in state for at least some of the night. Not only that, but by the sounds of it you had a cracking night in Newcastle - maybe this was just a bit of an off night. It happens to everyone.

It's probably down to you being a bit ill too, so don't dwell on it things will be cool

I totally disagree with adam if you start focussing on the bad things then it's just going to make it even worse and pile more pressure on yourself. You'll be thinking of negative things instead of the things you did right, picking up girls is about radiating positivity and attraction so concentrating on the negatives will put you in a negative frame of mind.
