Fake that Tribute night with people from work

At first I wasnt looking forward to it and was only going so I could socialise with people from work more. But when I arrived the ratio was very much in my favour! :trampoline:

The place was full of women on hen doo's and birthday partys! So I manned up got a drink at the bar and immediately started talking to solid 9 ( size 8 , 5ft with long blonde hair ) I was having banter with her about the tribute band and complimented her on her dress, It was going well , I was making her laugh and we had been talking for a good 10 minutes until..a much larger man appeared which turned out to be her Husband ( Im an idiot and didnt look for a ring!! )

She introduced me to him , I shook his hand. had some small talk with him then quickly moved on!

Sat down with my work friends finished my drink and as I was going to the bar I made eye contact with a early 30's stunner, Against all my instincts I followed through with the 3 second rule , walked over towards her ( from an angle ) and said " Can I get your opinion on something ?, what are your thoughts on Men wearing makeup? " It actually worked and we both talked and laughed at the take that tribute band who were wearing large amount of the stuff! The band had taken a break and the dj was playing , I took her hand and asked her to dance with me. she agreed! :badgerslayer:

But bye the time we had got to the dance floor the song had changed to the YMCA....yes the YM fucking C A:rant: So I had to dance like a dick with her to this awefull song until a better mainstream song was played ,

After 3 or 4 songs we walked back towards the bar and she told me she had to go rejoin her friends , I asked her for her number and her response was " Your far too young to be asking me for my number ! " and I responded with
" Do my amazing shapes that I threw on the dance floor not earn me a number from a stunning girl like you " I cringed so much when I said this..:vroam: but it worked!!! and then she rejoined her friends

I rejoined my friends , I was so happy!

Looking back I feel that i should of approached more women as i was making allot of eye contact and had lots of opportunities to chat to women but just froze...

The Hotel is doing a Fancydress event and other tribute nights which I will be attending!
