ok so arranged to hook up with a girl in leeds, decided beforehand to have a meal at the living room resturant and then onto some bars for drinks and a dance etc.

Met her in the resturant-- REALLY good looking girl proper head turner everywhere we went, tall slim, fake tits (not sluttly tho), looked classy

so we have our meal, got loads in common, conversation flows.
bill comes - quite an expensive one, but she doesnt make any motions to contribute so i think ok she can buy the drinks for the rest of the night.

so i tell her to get some drinks in - i stand at the bar with her and just as shes about to be served she goes 'need the loo' and walks off-- so i have to get the drinks in and pay...(alarm bells sound in my head)

hit a club together-- i ask her to pay us in as my wallets light now -- she then turns round and says:

ME eh? youve come out with no money?
ME (turns to women behind the desk wanting me to pay ) Is she having a laugh (points to date)

at my embarrassment i tell everyone im out of cash and need to get some so me and the date walk up the road to the cash machine, as i stand in the que i think to myself
'fuck this, im a fucking mug'

so tell her actually no im taking you home

a year ago - I would have continued paying for the rest of the night, knowing that chances are with how things had started i could have fucked her.
now-- no way, i wasnt going to be treated like that i dont care who or what they look like.

So i lecture her on the way back to my car
Me: are you embarrassed? - because i am
Me: cant believe you came out with no money, its just bad manners to assume im paying for everything
Her: i expect the guy to pay for everything on the first date
Her: ive lost my bankcard too
Me: any normal person would have said before we met up 'im skint, ive lost my bank card etc, and we could have worked somthing out, but the fact you turn up and dodge the barman, and assume im paying foreveryhing is ridiculious.

shes feelin pretty small, and im laughing at myself walking up the street, shes got no money and the last trains gone so it crsses my mind to leave her on her own in leeds as she lives in wakefield which is 30 mins away

me: i should just let you get yourself home but because i was actually brought up with manners i`ll drive you.

so all in all im light to the tune of over £100 for that night and im happy in that even with a hot chick with sex on the cards i can still recognise i have more value and act rather than sucking it in like a chode.-- but i was chodey enough.

i expect her to offer to buy a drink, and have at least money on her for a few drinks

and if she expects me to pay for everythin, id end the date on the spot

My Major Mistake Phil which was just bad luck-- was that she was slighly late turning up at the bar as i was going to say to her -- you pay for the drinks and i`ll pay for the meal.
then i could have exposed her befor the night had started and binned her straight off, instead we had to go straight in for the meal.

Thing with meals and girls you are dating first time etc-- how do you broach the subject of going halves for a meal without looking cheap (or telling them you go on that many dates that its fucking expensive for you)

Tell the girl there are "rules" to dating that the woman should always pay half, and then be like "omg, did you not know about the halvesies rule???"

Kudos to you for binning her off though, it's just fucking rude to assume you're footing the bill. Although I guess at that point, instead of taking her home you could have took her to your place for a banging first?

good post, this shows real strength on your part reflex. first off you handled it much better than a chode, second u'v postd it despite it not going perfectly. Probably difficult to bone her after falling out over money but it might hav been possible. In another thread knave mentions that hot girls almost nevr get said "No" to or called out on their behaviour. By treating her like a brattish kid and rempremanding followed by forgiveness this is classic and powerful 'push pull'. If she stayed out past the last train with no money she was planning on staying at yours anyway.

I'm starting to disagree with this sort of mindset; it's the sort that got me a small to average amount of pussy in the past - "I'm not bothered enough by sex to drive 30 miles for it", "I shouldn't have to approach a girl in a bar, if it's on she should approach me", "I'm really not bothered about going home with a hot girl tonight" etc etc.
