As for dancefloor game, I learned a bit of salsa, nothing flashy, just a few steps which has really helped me - not that I strictly "salsa" when out but it helped me to "lead" girls and effectively gives you both the frame "the guy is in control". This coupled with a move where I spin them out then roll them up my arm so that they are against me, facing me with my hand firmly on the small of their back makes it very intense and is usually instant k-close
then if you keep leading on the dancefloor, you can then lead them home.
