what i'm going to do tonight, is open 5 sets. whats a decent thing to say to a mixed set guys, i know its a good idea to address the men first. how could you do that.

my openers will be:
"hey, you girls look like fun. do you think it's gay for a guy to wear a pink dress to express himself once in a while?"

"hey guys, you look like fun! is it true that girls can sum up a guy just from his shoes."

"hey guys, you look like fun! who dances more sexy, a girl or a black man.

any feedback on these openers are very welcome i'm just gonna keep talking from there. approach is the main concern here, wherever it goes i dont really care. i dont want to overload myself with information, because as i read on here my audio editor will kick in and i wont be naturally expressing myself through body language and voice tone, and awkward silences would just occur!

Erm, seriously? "A black man"?

You don't see that there could be any issues with saying that to someone?

do you consider calling a black guy, black racist?
do you have a fav opener BCB? just to get me started?

You just never know with some people. I'd generally steer clear of race / religion as a rule of thumb.

And yes, I have a favourite opener for a group.

"Hey guys, me and my friend were just wondering, if you lot were to get into a fight, who would win? My friend thinks you (point to one) because your tall so probably have a long reach, but I think you (nominating target) because you look like the most feisty"

The you just sit back and watch them banter against each other to be the "winner". I have a 100% success rate for at least a good few minutes of conversation with that opener. Where you go from there is up to you, but I've number closed off the back of that at least half a dozen times.

thanks for the tip BCB of staying away from racial talk. its a good idea really thinking about it.
and man thats a super opener, fair do's. you use that on girls? or a mixed group with the guys? what are like some of your mixed group openers, because i find it difficult to open a women in a mixed group. mind you i've never given it go, so maybe its easy and i just have some mental blocks.

I've actually only ever used it on all girl sets, but I don't see why it wouldn't work on mixed too

BCB, that's a fantastic opener. Its like playing puppet-master over the 'would-be' cock-blocks.

i used the, "i think your cute" opener, very direct i know, but girls just seemed to walk away lol. i did it about 8 times. mind you they were moving sets, so, is the fact i'm chosing the wrong openers or the wrong situation? what would be the best situation?

Moving sets are a lot harder as they don't need to make an excuse to carry on walking, get the body language wrong, lack confidence or approach from the wrong angle and you risk coming across creepy/threatening/weird and you don't get a chance to recover.

If I don't come across perfect opening a stationary set, I know that after a few lines I'll find my stride and recover and at worst come across as friendly and harmless.

Well done for getting out there, getting rejected is good for you the more it happens the more you realise that it's nothing to be scared of.

thanks for the feedback and encouragement man! so what would be a good situation to open. i will push aside moving sets for now, as i'm new. would it just be a group sitting down or standing up. go over there, say "i think your cute, your a michael jackson fan arent you." or whatever lol.
i'm going back out tonight so, i need to do things a bit differently.

i said to a 3 set, " hey, your cute, wheres the best nightclub around here."
she went, "go away" and started touching my coat and saying, " whats with this fake coat" i think i blew myself out at that point dont know whether it would of been on or not, so i walked away. again moving sets!

i know some of the guys say to talk about anything on here, so i've just got my opener and just authentically express myself as they say :P i shouldnt run out of things to say hopefully, but obviously some kino would be good, as things would heat up then right!

another thing man, it just all seemed a bit needy i would say, i know they say through body language and voice tone is what really matters, so how could i portray that? not looking soo needy when opening lol! suppose lean back and not be so into it? hmmm..... any good videos that show you good body language when opening a set?

feedback welcome
