I still have a fat lip from falling over a table drunk on new year's day but I have decided to not let it hold me back.

I started the day with one of my private students. It was her second lesson and she is advanced, plus she is hot. She arrived at my house in a mini skirt with two coffees in her hand and gave me one.

I hold lessons in my dining room.

She asked if she could smoke during the lesson. In five years of teaching, no student has EVER asked me that! I told her, "Go for it." I thought it was cool that she had the confidence to do that.

She had brought a magazine full of current affairs and so we translated an article on the treatment of women in Iran. This led on to some great conversation. I escalated a bit of kino but not too much.

She even stayed an extra 20 minutes to chat and told me, "Wow, I am really loving talking to you."

I can't wait until the next lesson. Last time, it took me 3 lessons and bam!

I have decided I need to get out more doing cold day time approaches and not sitting at home listening to the blueprint decoded.

To kill two birds with one stone I have now put the blueprint on my ipod and listen to it when I am out on the sniff.

To improve eye contact, I made sure that I took account of the eye colour of every girl I approached. It's easy here; 90% brown eyes.

I even opened a couple of 9/10s/whatever who were very friendly. They were on the move though so no conversation escalation.

However, today for the first time I actually managed to get a couple of conversations going; the convo with the last two girls I opened lasted for about ten minutes and ended with kisses on the cheek and facebook closes.

I opened with the same old line about, "Hey, where can I find the best ice cream in Palermo?" Only this time I kept it going with, "Do you speak English? No!!! How do you guys travel?"
Her: "Well, I speak French."
Me: "So you can go to France and that's it? What would you do if you wanted to go to America or Ireland?"
Her: "I know, I have to learn it one day. You speak great Italian by the way."
Me: "Oh thanks... blah blah."

I know I'm still shit at day game but I see some potential in this approach for my situation. I'm just going to go out every day and keep building on it. At the very least I'm burning calories, walking around so much.
