I've recently been working on some daygame, but i'm having trouble transitioning to a good conversation.

I open. Something like 'where's the best coffee shop in town' or 'do you know where there's a good internet cafe'. I've only been using indirect openers.

Then, she starts rambleing the directions. When she's finished, i might say, that's an interesting hair colour or where's that accent from and we continue with a conversation. Other times, it seems a bit wierd when I mention about her hair colour or accent and it just falls flat.

I'm looking for a good solid way to transition into a conversation every time from a daygame opener.

Any tips/ideas?
