Well tonight I went out and decided to try pickup from a different approach. My usual natural way is fine, I go up I open sets and have a chat. But today I decided to try some canned openers and negging. Well the opening went well with the old "can I get some female advice". But after that I tried to neg a bit, came accross as a prick, felt like a prick. So tonights lesson is. Stick to what im good at. I dont do negging and canned openers, I cant pull it off and it just dosent feel right to me. My own style works fine and I dont need any of that stuff

I had exactly the same experiences a couple of years back. For me negging is a poor tool the lower the girls value in order to make yourself look half decent for 5 minutes.

A neg is not to lower a girls value, it has two purposes, show some disinterest and make her chase you and to tease her. I bet you banter with your mates as well, it's no different. If you're negs are making you out like a prick, you must be delivering them to harshly or using way to harsh negs.

If you feel like a prick when delivering it as well, you'll probably give off a vibe as one. I use negs a lot, but they come off as playful teases and the girls laugh and giggle, punch my arm etc.

I disagree. You seem to have this whole "neg" thing around your neck. It most definitely IS a tool to decrease her value and make yourself look good if done in the wrong way:

I read your post and I Agree with pretty much everything you say there. So I think you either misunderstood me or I'm not coming across in the correct way.

When i say it's not lowering a value, it's cause I agree with your definition of "lowering" of value.

I have the problem where I'm coming off as an egomaniac prick lol, (using non-canned stuff) because I naturally have a dry sense of humour, and girls can't tell I'm playing / teasing. So I'm trying to make some adjustments to my calibration, i.e give an IOI then IOD, smile more etc, to really get that push-pull working.

i think ur all puttin too much emphasis on EVERYTHIN... i tease girl... then if they get offended put my arm round and say IM SORRRRRYYYY really condescending....

i think a neg is just a way to show ur not scared to act out of sorts coz ur on her level or more
