Ok, so after joining the forum and researching into PU I thought it about time I had a dabble in Bristol (whiteladies area).

I convinced a friend to wing me and we got down to buisness abt 10pm starting in this cool bar illusion. Considering we both had 0 technology, and had never really opened sets before. I mustered up the courage and started using the 'Our friends cheating opener' on some 7's. Bugger me it worked.. Again and again!! I was opening 3-5 mixed sets all over the place, one after the other, and before long, sets in the bar started congrigating round us (Sweeet).. Ofcourse I had to completely wing it after the opener trying to throw in a few Neg's here and there for good messure. But It felt brilliant, I cant believe how fucking easy itis after you get going! I number closed 4 girls, but I didnt bother to save the numbers.. It was about the learning process and identifying weakness's for me. My wing was just as successful with 4 NC, and even 2 cheeky snogs the bastard! But he did buy shots for the two 7's in question, which quite frankly gentlement I was not prepared to do!

One 8 I opened, caught me out with the opener and basically laughed at me unimpressed.. Ouch, the force was strong in this one! I took it in my stride tho, rather than fuck off with my balls in a brace (what id normally do), and managed to bring her round after finding some common ground for a NC. Whos laughing now ya bitch!

The whole night was about learning, and getting used to rejection, so I didnt give a shit anymore. Sure we got shot down (usually by 8-9's toward the end of the night), but I didnt care, Im but a padawan learner. I was buzzing with nooby confidence! I'm determined to raise my game!

Mate, if your going to use canned openers, I would probably make a few up yourself, its not hard, you can just use things that happen in every day life.
If you use the same opener again and again and again, your bound to get someone that you've already spoke to before, or someone who's friends have been talking about you to them because they think your cool as fuck.

So seriously man, even if your in a club, you can use some shit like, "I've seriously got to ask you guys something, I really really need to know." PAUSE, girls ask you what, you say something along the lines of "Isn't it really dark in here."

That kind of stuff is mega easy to think of just on the spot. It doesn't even have to be that good, its got to come across confident and as if your the one they should be talking to, not you talking to them.

Just some shit thats helped me out a little, thought you might like to try it next time.

Ah Illusions! That was me not so very long ago. Awesome bar, the girls in there tend to be pretty hot.

Sound like you had a wicked night - my first night out was exactly like what you've described once I'd opened a few times and stopped giving a fuck. Me and Hustler even ended up in Illusions watching the magic show.

However, if you want to get away from the tactics (and I can see that you might bearing in mind what happened with your latter girl), the best advice I can give you to get you started off is what Phil and Lee have already said - keep practising, and try to open with your own, genuine opinion openers (ie stuff you're genuinely interested in) and the rest will come naturally.

Thanks for the feedback fellas, your right about the artificial openers! More intuitive girls can especially pick up on that shit like a bad smell.. I want to aim my standards high and be as natural as I can with my PU. The process was mainly to get myself use to approaching girls and engaging there interest. Cheers for the tips I'll be sure to employ them when I next go out and play!
