So I met this girl last year, but had a bf at the time....decided to do a random text the other day...quite a few good texts, shes half italian so quite open

Anyway, so we met up yesterday, went for a meal, did ok with the cocky comedy, we got on really well.

Later that evening went out to a gig...which wasnt on in the end, so went to the coast for a walk round the town. Chatting in a pub, got to the topic of kissing, she talked about a good kiss,
I said ''show me'' she replied with
''Good things come to those who wait''

What would you guys have done here?

Later on, started to lose attraction as she had a cigarette, and spoke about few things in the past, big turn offs for me.
When I dropped her off, and hugged goodbye I could tell she was thinking about a kiss, but we didnt, as I didnt feel it........I think the perfect moment was earlier!

So where do you guys stand on this loss of control from earlier, and when to gain it back?

Personally i wouldnt have thought anything much of it otherwise i would have phycked myself out like you did

I dont believe in the perfect moment for the kiss, you could have tried mystery's kiss gambit at the end of the date

If she had the DDB look then i would have gone for it. if your still intrested in having her as an FB then go for it man
otherwise stealing her from her bf just to get a quickie isnt my type of game. Theres so many pretty girls around its ridiculous.

Im sure you know what i mean, after reading the game it opens your eyes up to all the potential sets and how to best open them

After she said 'Good things come to those who wait' if the moment felt perfect like you say and you'd been vibing well with the cocky comedy stuff then saying 'Fuck that' and going for it would have been totally congruent with your behaviour and probably a super turn on for her. After all whats more attractive than a man who goes out there and gets what he wants when he wants it.

I doubt you lost any attraction either. To me it sounds like you lost dominance in the conversation by her talking about a subject your not comfortable with, she probably picked up on this which is why you might have sensed a change. The simplest thing to do there is just tell her 'I dont wanna talk about the past, its been and its gone, id rather concentrate on the present'. This way your back in the saddle leading the conversation and you have also set a boundry about whats cool and not cool to talk about.

One last thing. When you dropped her off, before she got out of the car you could have mentioned 'About good things happening to those who wait' and leaning in then. However as you said if it didnt feel right it didnt right.

she must have wanted to kiss you if she started talking about kissing! you asked her to show you what she was sayin is kiss me you could have said i will show you or just simply leaned in and kiss her. I never ask a girl if i can kiss her just look her in the eye and she will know whats on your mind then kiss simple.

it was a no because you asked her to show you! a man is supposed to take the lead and go in for the kiss not the woman.
