ok guys, some advice needed.

I go into the same coffee shop almost everyday and there's a solid 8 working here. We often catch each other looking but it's always super busy and there's loads of other staff around so I don't want to get rejected in front of them.

How should I open? It's also always filled with other people on their lunch break.

Would probably suggest you start chatting to her, get to know her, flirt with her, find a common interest and ask her out.

But given its mega busy and there's loads of other staff around, write your number on a piece of card, pass it to her and tell her you think shes cute and it would be nice to have a coffee with her somewhere outwith this coffee shop, ask her to give you a short text with her number.

It's maybe better if you get her number so that you can contact her as part of the whole man makes the first move/takes the iniative thing but it might be a bit of a bold step to try and get her number from scratch in 30 seconds. Thing is if she likes you and you give her your number she will text you.

Actually, i was thinking I don't drink coffee in coffee shops, but do they not always write your name on the cup or something? Ask her when she is making your coffee to stick her number on the cup because you think she's cool and you'd like to take her for coffee sometime, but to do that you need her number.

Some ideas there anyways.

tell her confidently that you're interested. pay her a compliment.

do it in front of her workmates and customers.

you will come across as a real man this way.

I don't think it's far to say that not getting her number (and instead giving her yours) pretty much guarentees she won't contact you, but the chances are a lot slimmer.

Obviously getting her number and doing it yourself is easily the best option, I was just trying to give the poster a few options to think about.

I'd have to agree with Kowalski on this one, never have I ever seen a girl contact a man after the number has been given to them. Maybe it happened at some point but it definitely doesn't happen now. The likehood of it happening is very low. Just take the number, then you call the shots. That way you know, the story.
