OK here's the deal. I was out with a few friends the other night, I didn't intend to pull but that's usually how it happens with me. I didn't approach this girl (still have major issues with that) but I initated some dancing and we got pretty heated! We didn't really chat much, a little...usual stuff - what do you do for a living etc (can't actually remember what she said!). But she also said she's moving abroad on Friday with her little girl after separating from her husband.

So anyway, I kiss closed her and got her number. I text her the next day a bit and gave one of Blanca's text's a try (slight variation of anyway):

Worked like a charm Blanca, nice one!!

She said that she'd love to meet up but she's still in a weird place cos of her break up and seeing as she's leaving it probably shouldn't happen. I kinda agreed and we left it at that.

Today I get a FB message saying that she's now intrigued to know more about me! So I sent a message telling her what I do for a living, broke up from my GF of 5 years at the start of the year etc...

So I guess my question is, should I really think about persuing something that is obviously OBVIOUSLY doomed from the start or just leave it?

Arrow - it depends what you're after at the end of the day - but as always I would say to be straight with her...if she's in a fragile place due to break-up etc then it's unfair to take advantage by leading her on...if you both know it is a bit of fun then where's the harm? Set your boundaries first...if she backs off then you gave it your best shot and kept your principals, if she goes for it then wel, hey - enjoy yourself ;-)

Well, what's the most important thing to consider? What you want from this. If you are interested in her and want a quick lay this could be fun. Just make sure she's on the same script with this.

What the guys said. Just be honest with your intentions and have no shame in stating what you want from the relationship. If she is down with it, then great, if not, there's plenty more where she came from.

Cheers guys, that's pretty much what I was thinking anyway. Really glad this board seems to have morals unlike a lot of the others out there!

I'm still waiting to hear back from her so will let you know how it turns out. If nothing else she was a really nice girl and it's a bit of a confidence boost to know that she wanted to know more about me even though she's leaving the country!!
