Ok so I went out last night armed with a couple of basic routines nothing too serious I didn't want to be robotic, I knew I'd be drinking so I'd be talking rubbish between lines anyway, the main reason I went out is because a girl had asked me to come out so I thought it was a 100% full proof fuck as we had been texting and teasing for a while, this girl is a 7/10

So I'm texting all the lads and know one wants to come out so I txt me friend who never says no, there's a reason he never says no, it's because he has nothing better to do EVER! He's a dear friend of mine but he is totally gameless! And very persistent, gameless and persistent is like alkieda and weaopns of mass destruction..... You get the picture!

We go to a pub in town where not many people go as I fancied a couple of games of pool, at one pool table is a bunch of mixed race guys and girls at another is a set of 4 all middle aged 3 guys 1 girl, she's a 5/10 mid thirties, so I challenge the guys to a game of pool knowing I'd have to out alpha them for a shot at what seemed like there prize possession, the 5/10, as this was my first night armed with what I knew I completely chocked and didnt Evan attempt speaking to the 5/10 Evan tho I caught eye contact at least 3 times, although I fucked up in not speaking to her the fact that she was looking at me gave me confidence in how I looked that night, I was slightly peacocking wearing all white high top trainers (JLS style) and a white jumper with a monkey on the front that seems to always get love, with the combination of the two If my voice was slightly homosexual I'd get away with being 100% gay lol, armed with the confidence in myself and a couple of beers in me it was onto the next pub/club....

The place has two pool tables in a separate pool room, you have to know its there to find, me and my friend go to the pool room we are the only two people there then suddenly a 6 set walks in all my age but just one girl, I figure I won't try hit on her as I'm no good at the AMOG thing yet and she was glued to her phone, then 2 girls enter (bearing in mind this room is small low ceilings, quiet with just two pool tables) a 6/10 and a 7/10 (there not dressed for clubbing their in casual wear, both them in dresses would probably pass as 8's) I catch eye contact with the 6/10 shes 5ft 2 blonde cute eyes, decent figure and she asks if she can take my next shot at pool (the monkey jumper strikes again) I tell her ok, it wasnt a bad shot although I tell her she fucked things up for me, basically were chatting away we have similarities I keep throwing the odd NEG which seems to attract her more to me and I start being cockyfunny all is going well, the time was 1:45am and the club with my target girl in stops letting people in at 2 so I tell the current girl I have to go look after my brother at this club, she's pissed but I get her number, and she gives me her friends number in case her phone dies, I guess that was a winner! But we are both under the influence and I told her she wouldn't txt me tomorrow as I leave...

In the club with the target girl I find her and she looks so god damn hot! I tell myself I've been waiting for this moment for ages play it cool and remember what you've learnt, there's no way I can talk to this girl in the middle of the dance floor in the busiest loudest club in the area, but I don't need to, we start dancing and she's grinding herself on me it's fucking great! She starts getting hot and makes her way to the bar to get a drink I stay on the dance floor with my gameless friend as he has just brought me 2 drinks, then I make my first chump move, I go up to her point at my drink and tell her to get me one, she says NO! It turns out she was still cool with me and we dance some more (while writing this I realise how bad I fucked up with her) we both agree to go outside and I put my cold bottle on her head and she says aww that feels so good, I said ooo it sounds bad when you say that, (CHUMP MOVE MONKEY BOY!!) She laughs it off, we talk a ill then her friend pulls her away and says we have to go, I don't no wether it's coinsedence or she told her friend to say that, either way I'm gutted!! This girl was the hottest for a while....

As I'm leaving i see a 6/10 red head blue eyes 18 year old, I get her number within mins at the entrance to the club the bouncer is looking at me like I'm a champ lol, in my head I'm still a chump! She walks in and I walk out, half our later she comes back out and we chat, I use Neil Strauss to my advantage and use the cube routine on her, she loves it and is eating out of the palm of my hand, i then get her to think of a number between one and ten and I guess it correctly (7) also while doing this I've become AMOG of the set and I feel this girl is going to do what ever I want, we chat and I play another chump move and ask her back to mine, she politely gives an excuse, none the less we make out for a good while and I put her in a cab, she txt me when she got home and I just replied "night (: xx"

So I guess it was a successful night!

questions I have

1. Do you think the influence of alcahole is a bad thing while playing the game
2. If none of the girls txt me today how should I reflect on that?
3. Anyone got any routine ways of asking a girl back to your place without bluntly saying "should we go back to mine"

In response to your questions:

1) Try a night with drinking, then without drinking, and then weigh up both. With alcohol, it really comes down to personal choice;

2) If none of the girls text you - not the end of the world. I'm not an expert on texting, there are probably other people here who can give better advice.

3) Really depends on the situation. If you are looking to take a girl back home, you should probably screen her in the early stages of the interaction to see if it's a possibility.

Towards the end of the night, you could use something along the lines of:
'We're going for an adventure'
'Let's go back to mine for tea and biscuits'
'I'm going to show you my CD collection'

Ok yeah that sounds logical

I have a golden rule of never txt the girl first, probably because by them txting me I know there interested but after starting this PUA thing I'm thinking I should start ringing girls instead of txting, so would you ring a girl who's number you got the night before?

Forget that never text a girl first stuff. She wont make it happen its upto you to make it happen.
I try to think of it like this when im out
A. can I take her to mine or go to hers 2 nyte if not go to
B. can I time bridge with her 2nyte ie can I arrange to me the girl within the next 3 days. Say something like im going to be in town doing some shopping you should tag along.Or something similar just a mundane task that you have to do anyways and doesn't centre around her. If shes interested you will probs swap numbers anyways but if not go to
C. get her number, ring her and arrange to do B on the phone within 3 days instead.
Within 3 days keeps you fresh in her mind (if your initial interaction was strong enough) and expect flakes LOADS of flakes from the past 2 weekends im suffering from flakes RUS lol

If you go out with the sole intention of hitting up girls your nights will either be amazing or terrible depending on your success. If you go out for a good night with your friend without expectation of success with girls then you're more likely to have a good time.

The problem as I see it was that with each opportunity that came your way you seemed to be too eager to "seal the deal". Girls notice it. Build some options (other girls) so that you have a couple of dates per week. That way you become less keen and needy

In answer to your questions:
1) Some people like going out sober, I enjoy one or two but not too many. Extremes are never usually a good thing.
2) Text the girls first - everybody plays those rules, be different but not needy. I text girls when I can. Sometimes they'll have replies a minute or 2 apart, other times they can wait a day until i have my phone or the time.
3) Try not to use routines. I play the ukulele, I surf, I have a couple of retro games consoles. All topics of conversations and good reasons for girls to come back. I am in an ltr now but sometimes they'd come back and we'd drink and play games, othertimes we wouldnt get further than the hallway with clothing in tact...

My advice to you MonkeyBoy is spend some time finding out what genuinely makes you tick. Not what your social group or society think, what you genuinely enjoy. Then make it happen so that you are happy and confident in yourself. Then go and do what you want with girls not what you think they want...

Yeah your rite if you go out with the intention of chasing girls you could give off the wrong vibes and the girl may notice, my sole intention was to get the target girl back to mine (she probably realised this mid flow) I wasn't interested in picking up anyone else wich is probably the reason I had 2 other number closes and a kiss close and lost the target girl, ill defiently be keeping this in mind next time.

I disagree about not using routines, it gives a solid structure and detailed way of getting across what you want in a subtle, tried and tested way, routines may not work for some people but they certainly work for me as I'm quite shy and generally an awkward kind of guy.

I took your advice and txt the girls first, I'm meeting the red head at the weekend, and although playing top game with the blonde I feel I screwed up asking her on a 'date' as that seemed to kill the texting flow we had, I need a better way to ask a girl to see me again without using that word as it seems to be a powerful deal breaker, ill txt her again today with some sort of cocky funny neg and see if I can get a reply, if not then at least I know where I went wrong.

Routines are ok to begin with. I started by using routines as they work like crutches, they're aim is to make you look like a confident guy. The more you go out tho, the more you'll feel at ease and less robotic by jus being yourself. You'll find people on this forum advocate a natural self-improvement approach rather than routines because in the long run it makes you an awesome person, not a pua

As for the date, it's quite simples:
Pick an evening and a fun activity - live music/salsa dancing/ice skating
Text the girl "hey I know this great band playing that you'll love this Thursday, is 7 o clock good for you?xx"
That way you have something good to do, you haven't used the word "date" but most of all you haven't asked her out - you've asked her if the time is convenient so in her mind it's a choice but really you've assumed the answer as yes...

You can pick up a comfortable pair of skates for $60 (£40) and they have tons of skate rinks, most offering free sessions at quieter times or there's a few public rinks in shopping/events centres.

I go a couple of times a month with mrs daleinthedark but at least once a week alone (its on my way to work and the temp gets over 30c outside with 100% humidity)

As a date I think ice skating is one of the best ideas,
nearly everyone loves it
it gives you loads to giggle at
if you need a moment to yourself you can go round alone or sit out
Great opportunity to hold hands/get physical by keeping balance

Ok so I used one of the text ideas I found in one of the threads I said 'playing hard to get already, damn you blondes" It went down well she replied in a positive way, so decided I'd call her, I let her know first and she said she was in the bath so told her to txt me when she was out, she took for ever (over 2 hours) so I called her anyway, I was uber nervous and it came across when we spoke, she answerd by saying she was driving (it did sound lik she was) we still spoke briefly but I said you better get off the phone while your driving (I guess its good she answerd while driving as she could/should not have answerd) after I said that she said ok ill ring you back when I'm home, this was the day before yesterday, still no call back, I'm thinking of txting her with "is it just me or are you trying to play hard to get" ... As its wednesday I can tell her ill be going out saturday night and that we should meet up, what do you guys think?

It's a pretty awesome way to get through town here but the roads are seriously bad - salted and -40 in winter then hot and 30+ in the summer leaves massive potholes and cracks everywhere so I'd have to practice more before I could get out and about, plus it would be a couple of hundred dollars for a decent pair which I can't afford for the next month or two.

But watching that video did make me want to not pay bills and skate through Downtown Montreal...
