Hey guys,

Thought I should write a quick post on last night as a few good things came out of it and wanted to share with you all.

I went out Sarging in Southend with new member here, Sky -and to be fair we had a really good night. I used to Sarge in London with a fellow pua and that is where I did my first sets and where I started really. This was one of the first Sarges I had attempted in Southend and with Sky and after hitting a few pubs we went into a bar/club called Churchills. To be honest it wasn't very busy for a Thursday but there were a few obvious sets dotted around and so we started working the room and trying a few new openers (I used the 'Do you know how much a polarbear weighs' opener which I found on this forum {thanks guys} and it worked really well) and generally having a good time.

We ventured out into the smoking area and saw a little 4-set; 3 girls and a guy and I used Sky's Ipod opener, which is an opinion opener and which has never failed me yet! I opened this set and then brought Sky into the conversation and we got chatting - as it happened, the three girls had come out and one had met this guy that night and so they were paired off, leaving me, Sky and two HB5.5's which seemed a good a place to start as any!

After the opinion opener we ran a few smaller openers to demonstrate DHV and the 'so how do you all know each other' lines etc and I was just about to run the best-friend best when someone outside dropped/smashed a glass and the moment went so sensing we were doing well, Sky pulled us out and told them we would see them later and left them to it. (It's true - when you suddenly leave a set that's going well their faces are a picture, as in 'what did we do wrong?')

Anyway on the dancefloor a bit later I was approached by this guy from the 4-set, Ronan, who only turned out to be a fellow pua! He recognised some of the lines we were using and saw how me and Sky were winging each other; we all had a laugh over it and swapped details - I have passed on this forum to him and so hopefully he'll be along soon too. We had a good night, Ronan kiss-closed his girl, I number-closed my girl and Sky came out with a classic line.....his girl didn't know her number and so she asked her friend, my girl, to give him her number (knowing I had her friend's number and that he could contact her again) he said to her - 'forget it - if you don't give it to me, I don't want it' which worked really well.

That would be the end of a good night but to add to it, as we were ready to leave Sky chatted to a HB6 right infront of the other girls and number-closed her and they did the girlie thing of looking whist pretending not to see it. Sky was smooth and I have found not only a very good natural pua/wing but someone who is going to keep me very much on my toes - Sky is great in the field and I need to brush up and stay alert or he'll be stealing all my girls from under me! lol

I learnt a valuable lesson last night, something I have read about but never really experienced until last night - once you start Sarging and Gaming you are always guarenteed a great night out...it doesn't matter if you close or if you get blown out all night long - the fun is in the approaches, trying new lines and enjoying yourself - and so cheers for a great night Sky - looking forward to tomorrow and Sunday evenings - and Ronan, pleasure to meet you - Game On brothers!

Sounds like you had a wicked time bro! Im off out in about an hour. Alas no wingman so Im gnna have work a bit harder!
