I went out into Town with 3 of my pals friday night, 2 have gf's the other is a total AFC that has no clue. I knew I was pretty much on my own but i don’t mind that. Let me start by saying I didn’t pull at all but had a better night than when I do, i usually at least get a kiss close but this is about quality not quantity for me. I want to have a choice rather than just settling for what I can get.

Anyway back to the night, we went out late after having a PES touri at my pals house so we went straight to the club about midnight, we sat down with some drinks and were talking for a bit. Their was these two 8s sitting opposite with there ug friend at the next table. I was facing them so cud see them and started totally getting into my head about what should I say, this was not good at all. After a while they were taking pictures of each other and singled me to come over and take one of the 3 of them, I wasn’t loving that so I acted kool and declined. I was thinking if i go that i fail without even approaching them. I decided that I waited to long and was guna let that one fly so i missed that opportunity. I was feelin the AA bad and thinking I need to sort this out.

At about 12.30 I went to the bar on my own and there was a 10 standing in front of me. I knew if i wanted to enjoy my night I had to get my first approach out of the way and calm my AA, she was probably the hottest girl in the place so this should work. I touched her arm and said, Can I ask u a question, she says sure. I say it’s really important mind no pressure, she laughs and says ok. Is it cool for a guy to carry an umbrella? No way she says and laughs, I have used this a few times and the hot girls always say yes so I’m thinking whats with this girl(im not saying that i think it is kool, its just a line lol). We go into random chit chat cant remember what about but after 5 mins or so she comes out with she like chav guys. WOW i say what you doing in here(it was a more upmarket place). She says her friend draged her, her friend is standing somewhere near so i bring her into the set, we chat for another 5 minutes and I chose to exit thinking im not gettin in here and im not interested in the friend. I walk away without a close but feeling really good, i kept it going and controlled the set, My AA is gone thank fuck. As im walking away this guy asked me what i was saying to her so i stop to talk to him and his friend is approaching her, i say dont think he will have much luck there, turns out this his mate is already kinda seeing her and had been watching the whole time. I feel fine with that, I was fighting a losing battle and still did alright. I leave this guy and return to my pals. When i get back 2 the seats of them have gone home, fine by me, means i dont have to stick around and entertain them.

Second approach of the night is this 9, i use the same line and she gives a good reaction, we start talking about david beckham and she says anything he does your ok to do cause he is kool, i laugh at her a bit and we are havin fun, turns out she has a bf that works on the rigs,dunno if this was a signal that he is away or just letting me know lol. After a couple of minutes chatting her friend must have realised and comes over to pull her away from me, she tells hte frind to stop being silly and sends her back to their group, we talk a bit more and i leave the set happy i did as much as i could and the bf thing never popped up for 5 mins so i felt she must have at least been interested in hearing what I had to say. Im pretty happy with my work and realise that im not bothered about the outcome as long as i have fun. This is very helpful.

Set number three this chick is a 7 but she is with about 15 lads and no girls, they are all over the place, i really wasnt interested in her and it was more the set which sounds pretty bad but i wana improve so i go in anyway. I used a different opener cant remember what but we start chating, its a works night out and she is the only girl, shes not with any of the guys and is easy to isolate, i think i asked her some sort of advice and put myself in the friend zone but she was nice enough, saw and spoke to her a few more times and each time there was less lads, i think they were trying to outstay each other to be the one to get a taxi with her, i got got a kiss off her at the end of the night but just peck on the lips nothing that i wud count.

Set four was this 8 who i thought has about my age (25) it turned out she was 35 and married. she didnt look it and had a great body, i was cracking on to her and all her 3 friends came and joined in, they were all hangin on my every word and laughing, i felt great and thought this what its about, if i could feel like this all the time i would never hav a problem picking up girls again. i totally controlled the set made them laugh and left them thinking i was a kool guy, they were all married but we all had fun so and i was loving being the centre of their attention for 15 minutes or so. Another stale set but i was having a good night.

it was later on now maybe about 1.45 and it was starting to quiet down, i think it being the night before halloween had made it a bit quieter than a normal friday. any way i was walking to the back where the smoking area is as my friend wanted a smoke. this guy random touched me on the way past and said you hav been every where tonight, i wasnt aware that guys noticed me lol. i looked and he was the another friend of the guy I had been talking too. I told him i was just meeting random people had he should try it as hed have a better night. The 10 was with them cause of the other guy so i started messing with her, at this point i had a lolly from the toilet guy. lame i know but after a couple of drinks u start to think its acceptable. Anyway she starts trying to take it out of my mouth. im not gunna just let her take it, thats probably what every other guy does for her. thats what would have done a few months ago, we start play fighting over it and eventually i give it to her ug friend, she manages to pull it away just as im handing it to the friend tho and laughs at her victory. Im part of the little group now, but with the 10 taken i leave the set, maybe if my skills where better i would have tried to take her off the guy, they werent really together just slept together a few time. Anyway its late and i need to move on.

Its now well after two and my energy is low, the club is dying off and i ask my mate if we are going he wants to stay, he's the 1 with a gf so i dont know why, he then went and sat down. There isnt much let and what is left is paired of, however this cute blonde 8 dancing with some guys not far from me, someone approaches her and seems to blow out very quickly,in my new confident state i think i can do much better than that. It’s either her or i don’t pull so theirs nothing to lose. I approach, i use the same line as before and she is laughing, literally 1 minute into the convo this little muscular guy walks over and pulls me away from her, i say to her who is this guy. she says her brother i ask him what the deal is, hes not happy. im thinking what is wrong with this guy, i hav a sister and if a guy talks to her thats ok, if he was bothering her i might get up set but if she was laughing i wud let it go. he clearly warns me off, i say ok and start talking to her again, he pulls me again and says dont u have a sister, i say yes, he says well u understand, i think hes not going to leave me alone so i say bye to the girl and tell her she will never have the bad boy she wants with him around we both laugh he doesnt. I found him very odd but who am i to judge him, i leave the set and get my mate. we are off i tell him so leave the venue.

All in all i was pretty pleased with the night, i may have had a few problems in closing and picked some bad sets but i can work on thos. As long as i can feel that way again with no problems approaching im quite content i can work on the close. Any way let me know what u think and any advise will be appreciated.
