Sugarspin, I have done all that, been there, bought the t-shirt. The more you know yourself (not to be patronizing, but it naturally comes with time....I'm middle-aged), the more narrow it gets, the more sophisticated/selective you become as to what turns you on AND what turns you off. This becomes intense as you hone your taste, but the downside is that your ratio becomes narrower.
