Me and my wingman decided to goto Meadowhall to run some Day Game. This was the first time runnig Day Game together so I wasnt sure what to expect. Also I hadnt done Day Game for over a year up until this point, so I was expecting a lot of anxiety on my part.
The day began at about 11am, when I finally got my car back from its MOT and drove to Meadowhall.
WH Smith Girl
After arriving at Meadowhall, the first port of call was WH Smith's book section. I was hoping to find a target in the travel section. However the targets were very scarce. I found a target in the cooking book section, I decided to ask her if she could see a copy of the book "100 Healthiest Foods". She seemed a bit startled as she had her side to me. Then she said no politely and locked me out and carried on looking. It wasnt the best set but it served as a warm up.
Lessons Learned: Positioning is important. I approached from the side and had to get her attention.
Power Puff Girl
Next as both me and my wing were hungry, we went down to Oasis (food court) to decide what to eat. On the way we walked through "The Lanes". I spotted a target (7) putting some clothes on a rail, she had multi coloured hair. I walked over to her smiling and asked if she was a Power Puff Girl fan. She said she used to be as a child and laughed. I then said I could picture her walking to school with a Power Puff Girl Lunch Box. She then smiled and laughed some more and maintained good eye contact. She had totally stopped what she was doing and gave me all her attention. AT this point I froze up as I had not expected the set to go as well. She looked at me, expecting me to say something. When I didnt she moved away.
Lessons Learned: Have some basic structure (or routines) so as to be able to continue the interaction.
Virgin Holidays Girl
After getting a KFC me and my wing started walking around Meadowhall, we saw a girl (9.5) giving out brochures for holidays. We went to her and asked her advice on travel. She tried to get us to go into the shop, we just ignored this hoop and carried on talking. We asked her about Prague or Holland. She said she had not been to either. She told us where she had been. I commented that I hadnt been to some of these places. She then asked where we had been. I mentioned that this very week I had actually visited Gibraltar and Spain. She then asked what I did as a job. I mentioned that I had worked in IT after leaving the army.
As I had mentioned Amsterdam, she told me about her visit there. I said that she was already lying to us as she had previously said she hadnt been to Holland. This got a good reaction, she laughed and giggled. She then asked what I used to do in the Army.
We carried on making samll talk. Cant remember to much as it was the very start of the day. Overall it was about a 10 - 15 minute set.
She mentioned where she lived and that she had gone to University in SHeffield. She said she didnt go out much in Sheffield so couldnt recommend anywhere. She did not once mentiona BF or Partner.
Lessons Learnt: SHould of tried for some sort of close as just ended up walking away. Write field reports the very same day or at least make notes after a set so more detail can be put down.
Superdry Girl
My wingman was looking for a jacket to buy. He said that he didnt buy Superdry clothes. I decided to drag him in. As soon as I walked in, a shop assistant (8) looked at me smiled and said Hi. My wing couldnt find any jackets so I called the shop assistant over and told her to show my firent the jackets and to convince him that Superdry was a good brand.
She said that SUperdry was one of the top brands in the UK. She then showed my wing some jackets. I then asked if the jacket made him look attractive. She said yes, I asked what she found attractive in a guy. She said a guy that looked wealthy who could support her and a family. I was impressed with her honesty.
My wing then asked if she found me attractive, she told me that she had a BF. I told her I didnt want to marry her and that her BF could make us breakfeast in bed. She looked at me in shock then she started laughing. She then said I was attractive but she had already met someone. I then said that I was heartbroken and upset and I was going to cry myself to sleep. I then said it was a big deal as I am shy and insecure around women, she then started laughing again and called me a liar.
We asked her what she did other than work in Superdry, she said she was studying marketing at University. I asked her if she had read the ARt of Persuasion and she said no and she was meaning to read it as she had heard good things about it. The conversation then somehow got onto Self Improvement Books, Tony Robbins, The Secret, etc. I was starting to get genuinely interesting in this girl.
She then asked for some relationship advice and said that the guy she was interested in was an introvert and she was an extrovert. She then said that as I was talky and chatty we wouldnt get along. I then did some role play and said that we would end up getting married then four years down the line we would be arguing with each other all the time. She carried on laughing.
Then we got back to the subject of this guy she was interested in. She said she didnt know if he was interested or not. Isaid that she would have to lead and take control of the situation. She looked horrified at this point. I told her she should wear a trench coat and nothing else and see how the guy reacted when she took it off. She just carried on laughing.
At this point the shop alarm went off cutting the interaction off.
Lessons Learned: Disable the shop alarms.
River Island Assistant
My Wing went to River Island next to looka t Jackets. He asked an assistant (8) what jacket he should wear to make him most attractibe to women. She said one that stands out from everyone else and looks unique. She then pointed at a suede jacket and a leather jacket. My Wing tried on the leather jacket and got the assistant to try it on as well. She said she shouldnt, my wing just commanded her to do it so she did, no resistance this time. She looked f**king hot in it. She then mentioned a jelous BF. I cant remember much else as it was my wings set.
Lessons Learned: Have some sort of follow up when a girl mentions a BF as my wing was unsure on this.
River Island Counter Girls
My Wingman then went to the counter to pay for the jacket. He asked the two assistants which one of them wanted him. They were pointing at each other. He ended up getting served by a Brunette (8) but talking to them both. They were both laughing and giggling. Some other customer then went upto the counter to get served. The shop assistant made no eye contact with the other customer and carried on chatting to my wing whilst bagging this guys clothes. The guy was looking at my wing as though to say "What the f**k makes him so special".
Russian Girl
I needed to buy a digital camera so we gave Meadowhall a rest and got a train to Sheffield Centre. When I walked out of the train staion there was a perfect 10 smoking a cigarette. I pulled out a cigarette, walked upto her and:
Me: Have you got a light Her: Here you go Me: Thanks, its bloody cold isnt it. Her: Yes its been like this all week. Me: I wouldnt know I have been in Gibraltar and Spain. Me: Where is that accent from. Her: Im from Russia, Me: I have always wanted to go there and se ethe Kremlin, what made you move to the UK. Her: Work Me: What do you do. Her: Im an international marketting manager. Me: Oh right, thats cool, how are you finding Sheffield Her: Interesting, what do you do. Me: Ive worked in IT since leaving the army.
She then asked about the company I worked for. I think she was after social networking to find a better job. I asked her if she wanted to go for a drink some time. And she gave me a business card with her phone details on it.
Im pretty sure this will flake, but I just wanted to push msdelf for some sort of close.
Lessons Learned: Try and open the girl up more and get her talking about herself.
Spanish Girl
After walking through the Arbitorium in SHeffield I emerged into some wierd green area. There was a girl leaning against a brick wall (10). I went and asked her what this green area was (is it a park or something). She smiled as soon she saw me walking towards her. Unfortunately she couldnt understand what I was saying as she was spanish. But her body language showed a lot of IOIs and she made intense eye contact. I felt loke I could just lean in a hug her and kiss her, it felt the natural thing to do. It was surreal. But there was a language barrier, I was talking very slowly to her and she was trying to reply as best as she could.
Lassons Learned: Learn a second language and take more risks with physical game. If I felt I could do something I probably could.
All in all it was a great day, There were a couple more sets that happened but they were initiated by my wing and I cant remember much about them.
I felt I could of done more but I learned a lot and considering I have not done DayGame, I feel overall the day went OK as a warmup session with no real goals. I was expecting myself to have a lot more anxiety so I was happily surprised.
My inner Game was great but my Outer Game needs some structure for Day Game as it is slower than night game and I am not used to it.
