I think the storyline of the book is good; guy changing his results with women.
However I think that the book puts the reader on the wrong path straight away. Its basically promoting canned material and no significant changes apart from to wear different clothes and say a routine that worked for other guys.

I was coming from the standpoint of the guy has already found this site and wants book reccommendations. At that stage, I would only reccommend 'The Game' at the last resort simply because I dont think the book puts the reader on a path of identity level change, its more surface bandaid soloutions wrapped in a gripping storyline.

If the person was totally clueless about PU I'd referr them to this site and look at various threads. Read books like 'Models' and 'The Rational Male' - both which I think are awesome and 1 reccommended to me by Phenom. Also another book which I cant remember the title of; something Alpha Male ...maybe.


I agree to keeping an open mind but I also think that if guys are already on this site or know about PU then there is no point reccommending 'The Game' because a good percentage of the book content is either outdated, canned or promoting Mystery and Style whilst demoting guys like Tyler. Instead, reccommend something thats going to be useful to them and help them on their path.
I know that for me after reading 'The Game' I actually felt like the book was poryraying Tyler in a very bad light. Naturally I googled Tyler after reading the book and then found RSD. That was when I found the forum. RSD was pivotal for me; without it Id have been following in the footsteps of bandaid soloutions brought forward to me by reading 'The Game'.
