Similar experience for me. The perv / lust thoughts I'm getting are there and porn does seem to enhance them. I don't think being in a relationship would make a massive difference to be honest.
But I don't think a mans deepest desires and most erotic fantasies could ever be satisfied by one relationship and the act of sex with one woman. But pursuing that feeling over and over is such a strong drive you can't ignore it.
At the end of the day we aren't in control of things. You just have to accept how it is and do the best you can. It's not perfect but life can be a lot of fun if you don't care too much.
That's the way I'm trying to think about things now. Getting too deep into anything, whether it's porn, gambling or whatever is not good.
One thing I like about 'pickup' is the more you get into it the more it teaches you about yourself. So to me it's different from other things. It's not about self indulgence, it's about challenging yourself and coming to terms with the reality. I want to get better with women and it's an interesting journey.
