When I was in Tokyo and Seoul for 10 days on my own last October, I did a few ‘sneaky’ approaches (I was seeing a girl back here at the time). I approached it no different to here and had an awesome interaction with a girl in Tokyo. She literally only knew about 5 words in English, but it was all about the eye contact and body language. She ended up asking to take a pic with me and I walked her home holding hands.

That one interaction has taught me that language is no barrier, and words don't mean all that much, it's the vibe you're kicking out. I wanna go back to Asia dammit!
