Nice write-up.....at the same time I was also shaking my head at some points.
Since when do you need to 'wait' for your wingman to escalate? In this case, you waited and got nothing! I understand where you are coming from though as you don't want the whole thing to fuck up.....probably what would be better next time is for one of you to take your girl away - either to the bar, the dancefloor or somewhere else. Then it's just the 2 of you.
And if you feel that they're ready to be taken home, just do it!
