Goals are good. The problem is that they are always off in the not-to-distant future, but distant enough that you can forget about doing anything now. Don't get your head all cluttered up with stuff that's not moving you forward.

What you want is something to get you going now.

So as Sha says go out, (sober or have a pint first, it helps) see a girl you want to chat up and go over and chat her up. Don't think about what you are going to say, just react to your physical instinct to do it and follow that feeling.
