Welcome to the forum mate, you sound like you've already got something to work with, but as its been mentioned you came across too strong, I wouldn't necessarily say its AFC to come as forward as you did in asking for her number but it was to come across as desperate.

Send a brief text soon after to keep the lines of communication going, if you don't get a reply then just leave it at that, be happy that you had the confidence to get the number of somebody you would rate at a '10' (personally I hate the whole numeric rating thing, but that's me). Take what you can from that interaction and use it to your advantage next time you see somebody you like.
