Ha! Good to see the shark thing is catching on!

On a slightly more relevant note, however, just go and approach approach approach. Freshers week is absolutely teeming with hot girls, 99% of whom are up for meeting new people and most of whom are looking for an adventure (ie getting with someone). I guess the best thing I could really tell you is to use this idea of abundance of hot girls to your advantage - if one set doesn't dig you, there's bound to be another one that does. Don't be worried about being rejected upon opening, after all it's freshers week - everyone talks to everyone!

Oh also be the exception to the rule. In freshers week, upon meeting a new person, I guarantee that people ask the following questions (in no particular order):

- What's your name?
- Where are you from?
- What course are you doing?
- What did you get in your A-levels?

Next week (for Bristol freshers) I'm going out and opening with things like "Have you ever seen a dog drunk?" or "Is it me or does Michael Macintyre look like a beaver?" rather than the generic openers above.
The point is, be the exception.
